| GENERAL INFORMATION A new fence and replacement or repair that exceeds 25% of the area of the existing fence shall require a fence permit. No fence shall be over eight (8) feet in height. PLANS SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS A copy of a site plan or your property survey with dimensions indicating the location of the fence on the property. If the proposed fence is going to encroach into an existing easement a Fence Waiver Form, signed by the property owner and fence company, shall be required prior to issuance of a fence permit. INSPECTIONS A final inspection is required upon completion of work FEES AND APPLICATIONS The permit fee for a fence is $30.00, and an application must be completed and submitted to the Building Inspection Department at 3901 Main St. Please contact the Building Inspection Department at (972) 412-6125 for additional information |
