How can GIS help you?

The GIS website is designed to provide you with an easy access to the City of Rowlett’s geographic information such as property ownership, legal descriptions, zoning, capital improvements projects, asset valuation, crime patterns, code violations, etc.

This new version is designed with a non-GIS user in mind. This website consists of powerful yet user friendly tools that

will help you in your day-to-day tasks. You can access this information from the comfort of your workspace or home.

The primary objective of this website is to improve communication, data sharing and coordination among

our Staff that must coordinate among various departments to efficiently and effectively deliver services

internally and to our Citizens. Rowlett GIS tools such as this website have to be embedded within our

daily workflow to achieve this objective.
